Foundation Primer
Foundation
primers were developed by make up artists to create a barrier between the
skin and foundation. It is used to even out the skin by filling in lines,
large pores, and rough patches. Generally, make up artists use a foundation
primer to keep foundation looking fresh for hours. It keeps foundation
on top of the skin and prevents the skin from absorbing it. Most foundation
primers are made from ingredients such as silicone, carbomers, and film
formers to create a texture that fills in gaps and holds foundation above
the skin.
