Facial Serum
Facial
serums are intensive leave on treatments. This “work horse” of cosmetics
is 40 - 50% more concentrated in active principles than most moisturizers.
Typical facial serums contain antioxidants, firming ingredients, hydrating ingredients, alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxides, refining ingredients, whitening ingredients, smoothing ingredients, plumping ingredients, etc.
Facial serums should be applied to cleansed and toned skin before applying moisturizer.
Facial serums:
-
Act as a pre-moisturizer for dry or normal-to-dry skins
-
Contain high concentration of anti-oxidants and skin nourishing factors
-
Stimulate skin repair and regeneration
-
Soften and repair scar tissue
-
Stimulate the growth and development of healthy skin cells
-
Repair skin that has been sun damaged or environmentally damaged
Treatment oils serve a similar function as facial serums.
They are favored by women with dry, mature, and sun-damaged skins and also used for post-surgical recovery. Made from cold-pressed vegetable oils, these treatment oils are known for their nourishing and healing powers.
